How goes the Ring-Arrestor attach to drum?
The muffler is positioned on the drum head opposite your hands
and fastened to the inside of the drum hoop with velcro. Two velcro tabs
with adhesive backing are attached to the matching tabs on
the muffler itself. The velcro does not touch the drum head.
The suede material lays flat on the head surface.
Does one size fit all?
The mufflers can be used on any size drum from 10 to 18 inches in diameter.
For 8 inch toms it is easy to trim a bit of suede for correct fit.
Do the mufflers reduce volume?
No. They are intended for tone control.
Can more than one be used on a drum?
Two can be used on a single head for stubborn overtones and ringing.
